A digital environment open to everyone

We imagine this website as a space to inhabit: understated, readable and free from excess. Digital accessibility is an integral part of this vision. We aim to design clear paths, essential visual hierarchies and intuitive interactions, so that every person can engage with the content naturally, regardless of the device used, their visual or motor abilities, or their familiarity with digital tools.

Navigation, keyboard and assistive technologies

The site structure is designed to be explored also via keyboard and assistive technologies. The tab order follows a coherent logic, interactive elements feature visible focus states and link or button labels are written to remain understandable even out of context. The overall approach is inspired by leading international accessibility guidelines, in particular the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the WAI recommendations by the W3C, with the aim of ensuring a perceivable, operable, understandable and robust experience.

Images, text and motion

Images are selected and described with care, to support the narrative without becoming intrusive. Purely decorative content is reduced to a minimum and, when present, does not interfere with reading or navigation. We make measured use of animations and transitions, avoiding solutions that could distract, cause fatigue or create barriers in accessing content, in line with the best practices suggested by international standards.

A commitment that evolves over time

We see accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a definitive state. The site is periodically reviewed to identify areas for improvement, also in light of evolving international standards (such as WCAG and the European reference framework, for example EN 301 549) and assistive technologies. We welcome constructive comments and suggestions, with the goal of making the digital experience increasingly inclusive, harmonious and aligned with the values that guide our work.
