Art enters our projects as presence, as weight, as a shift in perception. A work of art changes a room irreversibly. The studio's art advisory guides clients in building personal collections, with the expertise of those who know the market and the sensibility of those who design the spaces that will house them.

Method

Our work with art stems from the conviction that collecting is a design act. Every work that enters a space redefines its balance, its visual pathways, its emotional register. This is why the studio's art advisory goes beyond selection and purchase. We work on the relationship between the work, the wall, the light, the furniture beside it. The art we propose finds its meaning in the space that receives it.

Art advisory phases

1. Briefing and collection assessment

analysis of the existing collection and its gaps, with an in-depth discussion of tastes, sensibilities, expansion goals and investment horizon. The analysis considers the art-historical and asset value of works already held and identifies possible lines of development.

2. Collecting direction

identification of artistic movements, periods, media and typologies consistent with the collection and with the spaces that will house them.

3. Research and selection

research through an established network of galleries, art dealers, auction houses and private collections. Assessment of works for artistic quality, authenticity, condition, provenance and potential for appreciation over time.

4. Acquisition proposal

presentation of a curated selection of works accompanied by documentation on artist, period, provenance, market value and potential for appreciation over time.

5. Finalisation and installation

management of contracts, insurance coverage and terms of purchase. Supervision of installation with calibration of positions, heights and lighting in relation to the space and the existing interior design project.

Scope of work

Art-historical research

research into artists, movements, techniques and historical periods, enabling the contextualisation of works in the collection and informed assessment of those under consideration for acquisition.

International market research

monitoring of the art market through galleries, fairs, auction houses and private channels across Europe and internationally.

Private gallery and fair visits

organisation of private visits to galleries, artists' studios, art fairs and previews, with dedicated accompaniment throughout.

Long-term acquisitions

advisory on the acquisition of works with appreciation potential, with analysis of the artist's market positioning, the historical significance of the work and demand dynamics.

Contract and insurance support

assistance in defining purchase contract terms and arranging insurance coverage, in coordination with specialist law firms and brokers.

Collection cataloguing and management

inventory of works, organisation of photographic and technical documentation, collection of certificates of authenticity and maintenance of records for management, handling and any loans.

Conservation and restoration

assessment of the condition of works, identification of appropriate specialists and supervision of any restoration or preventive conservation work.

Vision

The relationship with the collector is ongoing. Collections grow, refine themselves, change direction over time. The studio follows this evolution with an advisory that extends beyond the individual acquisition, offering critical reading, market access and long-term vision.
