Privacy Policy

With this document, Francesco Meneghello, owner of the site francescomeneghello.com (hereafter the “Site”), informs the interested party (the “User”) that his or her personal data relating to browsing within this Site, with direct access from the homepage or through sub-pages, will be processed with the utmost care and by means of tools designed to ensure an appropriate level of security. This privacy notice – issued in compliance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – is not to be considered valid for other websites that may be consulted via links on this Site.

1. Types of data processed

1.1 Data deriving from the User’s browsing
Through the normal functioning of the Site, certain data are acquired and transmitted implicitly when using Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify Users.

This category of data includes, by way of example, IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by Users who connect to the Site, the addresses in Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the User’s operating system and IT environment.

Such data are never used by the Data Controller for profiling or association with other data; they are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check that it is functioning correctly, and are deleted automatically immediately after processing.

1.2 Data voluntarily provided by the User
These data are provided by the User during voluntary interaction with the Site, by filling in contact forms or by sending e-mails, in order to request information or for any personal purpose indicated by the User. By sending his or her data, the User expressly authorises their processing within the limits of the purposes described above.

2. Cookies

3. Social network widget

The so-called “social plugins” are buttons on the Site that show the icons of social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and allow the User to interact directly with those platforms, for example by sharing content.

4. Purpose of data processing

The processing of User data is carried out for the following purposes:

– collection of data voluntarily entered and sent by the User through completion of the contact form available on the Site, on the Contact page;
– collection of data voluntarily sent by the User by e-mail to the addresses indicated on the Site;
– handling and replying to requests for information or contact.

6. Modalities of data processing and storage

Data processing is carried out electronically and by automated means, according to logic strictly related to the purposes indicated above and in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data. Data are stored for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, without prejudice to any longer retention periods required by law.

Personal data processed through the Site are not disseminated and, save as indicated above, are not disclosed to third parties. They are stored on the systems of the Site’s hosting service provider, using methods, time frames and tools that ensure the highest level of security and confidentiality.

7. Provision of data

The provision of personal data by the User for the purposes described above is free and optional. However, if the User chooses not to provide the data necessary to process the request, it may be impossible to respond to messages sent via the Site or by e-mail.

8. Rights of the data subject

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 grants data subjects a series of rights over their personal data processed by the Data Controller. In particular, Users may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 77 and 82 of the GDPR (including, for example, the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of their data, access to the data, erasure of data processed unlawfully, rectification, restriction, data portability, objection to processing for legitimate reasons, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority).

The Data Controller undertakes to provide feedback within 30 days and, where it is not possible to comply within that period, to explain any extension of the time limits provided for by law. Responses will be provided free of charge, except where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive; in such cases a fee may be charged, not exceeding the costs actually incurred in dealing with the request.
