Copyright & Image Use
Clear guidance for the lawful and respectful use of images, texts, projects and trademarks on this Site.
1. Scope and ownership
Unless otherwise stated, all content on francescomeneghello.com — texts, projects, photos, renders, graphics, videos, layouts and code — is owned by Francesco Meneghello or licensed from the respective rightsholders. Any unauthorised use is prohibited.
2. What is allowed without permission
- Sharing links to Site pages (deep-linking allowed) with source attribution.
- Embedding by simple link (no iframes), without altering the content or bypassing its context.
- Private, non-commercial use for study or research, without public file distribution.
3. Editorial use (upon written request)
For articles, features or press coverage (print/online), written approval is required. E-mail [protected email] and include:
- project/object title and page URL;
- editorial purpose, outlet/channels and estimated reach;
- list of requested assets, sizes and deadlines;
- language and territories.
If approved, we will provide official assets (press kit) and licensing terms specifying duration, territories, any exclusivity and potential fees. Images must be published as supplied, without material alterations (no heavy filters, meaning-altering crops, or removal of watermarks/metadata).
4. Commercial use and campaigns
Any commercial or promotional exploitation (ads, paid social, OOH, catalogues, e-commerce, campaigns, packaging, NFTs, AI datasets) requires a dedicated licence. Write to [protected email] with project, channels, duration, geographies and budget.
5. Mandatory credits
Credits must appear next to each image or in the colophon. Examples: “Design: Francesco Meneghello — Ph: Photographer Name / Courtesy Francesco Meneghello”; “Collection/Work: WE DON’T DESIGN — Ph: Photographer Name / Courtesy WDD”.
6. Trademarks and visual identity
The “Francesco Meneghello” and “WE DON’T DESIGN” marks, their logos and visual assets may not be reproduced, modified or combined with other signs without written consent. Misleading or disparaging use is forbidden.
7. Prohibited uses
- Hotlinking of media files and iframes of the entire Site.
- Scraping or automated mass downloads of content.
- Using content to train AI/ML models without an explicit licence.
- Alterations that affect the work’s meaning or integrity, or infringe moral rights.
8. Releases
Where required, model and property releases are obtained. Authorisations are valid only for the purposes set out in the licence; further uses require fresh written consent.
9. Third-party content and collaborations
Where third-party content appears (artworks, authored elements, partner-provided images), rights remain with the respective holders and may require additional permissions.
10. Notices and takedowns
To report copyright or attribution issues, e-mail [protected email] with the URL, description, proof of ownership and contact details. We will review promptly and remove or rectify where appropriate.
