Trade magazine Luce e Design gives Andromeda, designed for OLEV with Davide Lanfranco, a spot in the Highlights section after Euroluce 2019, highlighting the interchangeable magnetic optics system.

“Highlights” page in Luce e design with an Euroluce selection, including Andromeda by WE DON'T DESIGN for OLEV

Luce e Design publishes Andromeda in the Highlights section of issue 3/2019, dedicated to Euroluce novelties. The pendant lamp, designed with Davide Lanfranco for OLEV, is one of the eight chosen by the trade magazine from Gruppo Tecniche Nuove after the thirtieth edition of the lighting biennial, with 421 exhibitors in pavilions 9, 11, 13 and 15 of Fiera Milano Rho.

The editors highlight the interchangeable optics system with magnetic technology, allowing beam and colour temperature adjustments without tools. A technical aspect that adds to the dual light emission — downward with lens and upward through the 170 micro-holes on the surface — and the Nero Cosmico finish developed specifically for this project. On the same page, also Cidi by Marc Sadler for OLEV, Newton by Andrea Branzi for Nemo, and Lasospesa by Stefano Boeri Architetti for FontanaArte.
