Luce & Design, the Gruppo Tecniche Nuove trade magazine for the lighting sector, selects Andromeda, the pendant lamp designed by Francesco Meneghello with Davide Lanfranco for OLEV, for the Highlights section of issue 3/2019, devoted to the new products shown at Euroluce.
Luce e Design features Andromeda in the Highlights section of issue 3/2019, devoted to the new products shown at Euroluce. Designed by Francesco Meneghello with Davide Lanfranco for OLEV, the pendant lamp is one of eight pieces chosen by the Gruppo Tecniche Nuove trade magazine after the thirtieth edition of the lighting biennial, which brought 421 exhibitors to halls 9, 11, 13 and 15 at Fiera Milano Rho.
The editors draw attention to the interchangeable optics, which attach magnetically and allow the beam and colour temperature to be changed without tools. The lamp emits light downwards through a lens and upwards through 170 micro-perforations in its surface. Its Nero Cosmico finish was developed specifically for the project.
