Il loft di Meneghello a Londra is the title of the article published on page 76 in the News section of the October 2022 issue of Il Bagno Oggi e Domani, a long-established Italian bathroom design publication founded in 1973 by Oscar G. Colli for DBInformation, the official voice of Assobagno and a partner of the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale. The editors focus on two episodes from the Industrial Loft: the master bathroom, centred on the sculptural Blocco washbasin by HenryTimi in Calacatta marble, obtained "per forza di levare" by Henry Timi and Giorgio Rava, mounted on a structure with custom mirrors designed by Francesco Meneghello, together with Fold taps by Ceramica Flaminia designed by Lorenzo Damiani, within a raw shell of industrial concrete; and the exposed reinforced-concrete staircase, also designed by Francesco Meneghello, composed of detached and misaligned elements as a free tribute to Carlo Scarpa and the iconic Olivetti showroom in Piazza San Marco, Venice, designed in 1958, where steps in Aurisina stone and iron rod appear suspended in mid-air.
